KNOWN for their picturesque settings and breathtaking backdrops, Hallmark Channel made-for-TV movies and TV series are typically filmed in Vancouver, Canada.
Hallmark Channel’s Falling In Love In Niagara, however, was actually filmed on-location at the stunning, surreal, and spectacular Niagara Falls, allowing its cast and crew to soak in the falls in all of their majestic glory.

Where was Hallmark Channel’s Falling in Love in Niagara filmed?
Falling In Love In Niagara is about a young woman, Madeline, whose fiancé leaves her right before their upcoming wedding.
Devastated, Madeline decides to go to Niagara Falls, on what would have been the couple’s honeymoon trip, with her sister, Harley.
While taking in the sights and attractions at Niagara Falls and the surrounding town, Madeline “reconnects with her adventurous side” and “learns to let go,” as summarized by Hallmark.
She also meets Mike, a tour guide who “convinces Maddie to embrace a touch of spontaneity so they can discover the hidden wonders of Niagara Falls together,” as reported by Parade’s sneak peak.
What starts out as an awkward meeting blossoms into a romantic connection, leaving Madeline wondering if her true love was in Niagara Falls all along.
Meanwhile, Madeline’s sister, Harley, goes on an adventure of her own, photographing a couple’s destination wedding weekend at Niagara Falls.
While the majority of Hallmark’s original movies and series are filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, this made-for-TV movie was actually filmed on location at Niagara Falls.
Niagara Falls consists of three waterfalls, Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and American Falls.
The Falls span the border between Ontario in Canada and New York in the US.
Both Ontario and New York have a city named Niagara Falls adjacent to the Niagara River, sharing the waterfalls in between.
The cast and crew both got in on the fun while on set, and took some time to visit Niagara Falls for themselves.
Monica Rodriguez Knox posted that she had a blast enjoying the “beautiful scenic scenes of Niagara” on her Instagram page.
The movie’s makeup department head, Alyssa “Aly” Morden-Hayley, also posted some scenic shots to her social media page.
“that’s a wrap on Niagara,” she captioned the post, alongside a movie clapper board and water wave emojis.
Dan Jeannotte, one of the movie’s main cast members, recalls that “it was amazing to get to be in Niagara, and to get to do all these fun, like dare-devilish kind of adventure games was great,” as reported by Niagara Frontier Publications.
“I mean, there’s so much natural beauty in that area,” he said.
“Obviously, the showstopper is the falls; but then you’ve got the beautiful vineyards – the wineries nearby – which is a whole other kind of beauty, and a whole other cultural sort of a touchstone.”
