LINDSAY Lohan fans have dragged the actress’ latest Netflix film, Irish Wish, on X, fka Twitter, for being unoriginal.
Irish Wish is a romantic comedy that adds its own twist to the “luck of the Irish” trope that was often seen in early 2000s cinema.

In the film, Lindsay, 37, portrays Maddie Kelly, who is traveling to Ireland for a wedding.
The love of her life is marrying her best friend and Maddie is a bridesmaid in the wedding.
A few days before the ceremony, Maddie makes a wish to find true love and wakes up the next day as the bride-to-be.
However, once she gets her wish, she realizes that the man she is marrying might not be her soulmate after all.
The Lindsay-produced movie also starred Ed Speleers, Alexander Vlahos, Ayesha Curry, and more.
Netflix released Irish Wish on Friday, and so far, the reviews haven’t been favorable.
Lindsay fans’ negative remarks were spewed all over X.
“#IrishWish a predictable mess of a movie.. #Netflix #LindsayLohan,” one fan wrote.
‘IT’S BASIC’
Another critiqued: “I wish #IrishWish was a much stronger movie. It’s not as pleasant, genuinely charming or enjoyable as Lindsay Lohan’s previous Netflix rom-com, 2022’s Falling for Christmas.
“The Ireland-set story plays-out pretty much as you’d expect. Often flat. The messages are basic.”
A third complained: “#IrishWish : it’s like watching a lookalike playing Lindsay Lohan. Botox is bad for actors! Gorgeous scenery tho, I die.”
Someone else mentioned: “The movie is so bad if you watch it you will ruin your weekend.”
CHANGE OF HEART
It seemed Irish Wish didn’t live up to the hype of its trailer.
Many fans were raving over the film on X in late February after the movie trailer was released that month.
In all caps, one fan wrote, “REAL CINEMA IS BACK!”
“Oh. I’ll be seat,” added a third.
“Lindsay Lohan Supremacy,” said another.
“OH I’m sattt,” wrote one fan.
“Glad to see that Lindsay Lohan is back in movies again. Looking forward to seeing this,” one last fan wrote.
SO FETCH
Lindsay recently made a public appearance in January when she showed up to the Mean Girls premiere.
On January 8, the actress showed up to AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City.
She starred as the main character, Cady Heron, in the original Mean Girls 2004 film, which Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey wrote.
For the premiere of the 2024 revival film, which is an adaptation of the 2017 Broadway musical Mean Girls based on the 2004 movie, Lindsay wore a long-sleeve black dress with a side cut-out and silver belt.
The singer accessorized her outfit with dazzling earrings and a black clutch purse.
Lindsay sported her natural red hair, wearing it straight with a slight body wave.
Her makeup partnered well with her hairstyle, and together it made her look like a timeless beauty.
She posed with Tina on the pink carpet and had a cameo in the film.
